The full line up for the Arlington Arts Festival that takes

place from Friday 8th July until Sunday 10th July has

been confirmed.

Arlington Arts Group has taken part in shows as part of the

Hailsham Arts Festival for the last 2 years and in 2010 ran a pop-up Gallery as

part of the Festival in an empty shop in Hailsham High Street and this is the

first time they have set up a full arts festival.

The festival takes place at various locations around the

villages of Wilmington, Berwick, Alciston, Selmeston and Arlington and features

a wide variety of different events and exhibitions.

Art at The Wishing Well Tearooms will see paintings,

sculptures and jewellery exhibited on each of the three days between 10.30am

and 4pm.

'Seven Up' will see contemporary art exhibited at St Mary

& St Peter Church in Wilmington from seven different artists on both

Saturday and Sunday. Tea and Pimms will be available in the afternoons.

Linda Hallums will give a talk entitled "The 20th

Century Bloomsbury Murals" at Berwick Church on Friday 8th July from

11am.

A Cajun Festival night will take place on Saturday 9th

July from 7pm including Cajun dancing lessons, Cajun food and live music.
