Hailsham Cricket Club search for young talent

Hailsham Cricket Club are looking to bolster their youth ranks and are searching for young players aged 5-15.

The club has made great strides in recruiting young players in recent years and now runs successful teams for the under 9,11,13 and 15 age groups and runs sessions for all ages from 5-15.

All sessions are run by qualified English Cricket Board (ECB) coaches and cost £2 with no joining fee required.

Hailsham Cricket Club provides a welcoming atmosphere to enable children to gain an interest and experience in the game.

Players are encouraged to develop their skills at whatever standard and parents are encouraged to help and have an opportunity to earn their coaching badges.

Indoor nets start on January 4 at Hailsham Community College. 11 years and under 6-7pm. 15 years and under 7-8pm. contact Rob Wilkinson on 07980146841 or wilko27@hotmail.co.uk.

Adult training begins on February 5 at Hampden Park Sports Centre and this is open to new and existing players of all abilities and experience and this will be a great chance to get together as a group and begin training before the season starts.
