Hailsham Town Ended October in second position in the Sussex County League Division Two with Danny Leach continuing his fine run of goal scoring form.

We pick things up in SCFA RUR Charity Cup Round Three on November 5th, but despite another Leach strike Hailsham Town lost 4-1 away to Division One team, Three Bridges.
On Tuesday 8th, the Stringers were back in League action and gained a 1-0 home win against Seaford Town through a Saunders goal.
On Saturday 12th November Hailsham Town made further progress in Round Three of the Division Two Challenge Cup with a 6-0 home win against Rustington with goals from Shane Saunders (2), Danny Leach, Jarvis (2) and Ben Billings.
The following Saturday, Hailsham Town gained an excellent 4-0 away league win against Loxwood with goals from Shane Saunders, Mark French and Danny Leach's 22nd and 23rd goals of the season.
Hailsham Town maintained the pressure on league leaders East Preston with a 3-0 away win at Wick. Another clean sheet was aided by goals at the other end for Danny Leach, Shane Saunders and Alexander to stay three points behind the leaders in second place with a game in hand.
