Police appeal for information on Hailsham burglary

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a property in Boreham Street, Hailsham, at 9.15pm on Wednesday, 11 April.

Items taken included a ceremonial German dagger, a glass dome clock made of brass and a black and pearl jewellery box.

Detective Constable Alex Campbell of the Wealden Priority Crime Unit said: "A number of items were stolen in this burglary including a large amount of jewellery. I would ask anyone if they have any information regarding any items please come forward and let us know."

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1764 of 11/4. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
