Stabbing in Hailsham - three are arrested

In the early hours of this morning (Friday 24th June 2011) police were called to a property in Diplocks Way in Hailsham to investigate reports of a stabbing.

A 42-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his back and arm following the incident and is now recovering at Eastbourne District General Hospital, where he is said to be stable and recovering.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident, including two men, aged 57 and 26, and a 49-year-old woman. They are under suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The woman is also being treated at Eastbourne District General Hospital for head injuries.
