Traffic delays expected in Hailsham for murder victim's funeral

Traffic in Hailsham is expected to be delayed tomorrow for the funeral of Darren Croxton who died of injuries linked to stab wounds in Sussex County Hospital on January 23rd.
The dad of one was stabbed three times on January 22nd near Bramble Drive.
Mr Croxton's funeral will take place at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Hellingly.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We have been liaising closely with partner agencies to address issues such as parking in and around Hellingly and Hailsham town centre tomorrow.
"Some traffic delays are expected at the time of the funeral procession and we would ask all residents to please be patient.
"The funeral will be policed in the same way that all large events of this kind are policed, with particular consideration given to try and avoid as much disruption as possible to the local community."
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with Mr Croxton's murder and will appear at Eastbourne Youth Court on Tuesday February 21st and his trial will take place at a Crown Court.
