Wednesday update on the conditions in Hailsham

It is snowing in Hailsham, it is certainly cold enough and the sky looks ominous.

The Met Office continues to issue to Level 3 warning for the region (and also check Hailsham People weather), and have advised people to take extra care of the roads and pavements. Further snow flurries are a possibility later.

Southern have reported good conditions on the railway network* – they seem to have coped better in the adverse conditions than normal ones! Buses also seem to be working towards schedule.

No school closures have been reported, yet. However, with temperatures still below freezing this may change. Orion, Hailsham is closed as the roads are too icy. Staff will check on users and do a home visit if required.

*Though keep an eye on Twitter for news from commuters trying to get into London it seems problems are now apparent with staff turning up late.
