One of the hardest things about being a mum is giving your little ones quick, easy but healthy food they'll enjoy.
Here's one of my children's favourites that they help to cook as well as eat. It's easy enough for even the most novice of cooks to make - and yes that does include me!

It’s yummy, Mummy Bacon and egg scramble
Time to cook – 10 minutes
Skill level – easy

Ingredients
Knob of butter
4 rashers unsmoked streaky bacon
3 eggs
4 tbsp full-fat milk
1 tbsp finely chopped p****ly
freshly ground black pepper

Do I need any special gadgets? No

When you’re in a hurry and still want a tasty breakfast or lunch for your little one, try this. Get your toddler or child to help you mix the eggs and sprinkle in the parsley – a job they always love doing!
You can add ham instead of bacon if you want, but make sure you don’t use smoked bacon as it’s too salty for children.
1.Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the bacon until crisp and golden.
2.While that’s cooking crack the eggs into a bowl and ask your little one to add the milk (you might need to give them a hand to stop it spilling!), chopped parsley and a little bit of ground black pepper.
3.Pour off the fat from the bacon pan, making sure you don’t drop the bacon. Place the pan back on a gentle hear. Add the eggy mixture and cook, stirring, until the eggs are scrambled and cooked through.
4.Serve immediately – there’s enough for two children (and a sneaky few bites for mum!). This will easily become a firm favourite at meal times.
