A plea from Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare

As a keeper of many, many chickens, ducks, chicks and ducklings, I have been a longtime fan of the work that Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare (Ringmer, near Hailsham) does in caring for and rehoming animals.

Sharon Williams, Donor Support and Assistant Fundraiser, wrote to me today to bring to my attention a fundraising effort that the Centre has undertaken and Raystede needs your help!

Writing in an email Williams said "Raystede has entered a video into the JustTextGiving competition on YouTube to try and win a £500 donation towards our work.

We have until 23rd August to try and get the most views out of all the entries to win the money and we are at the moment a good 4000 views behind the leader! If you could view the video, that would help and if you could send it to any friends or family, we would be very grateful.

I don't know if there's any way in which you could put a link on Local People? I fully understand if you can't."

So, have a look at the video and uphold Britain's reputation as a nation of animal lovers (of allsorts), and help raise money for the Centre at the same time.
